    What is Faith on Eighth?
  • Faith on Eighth is an outreach group that takes and serves food to about 75 men. It is a corporal work of mercy to work among the poor and an experience in humanity to feed them. Our parish sends a group on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. There is a sign-up board int he vestibule two weeks before, for both volunteers to go and for donations of food.
What are Sack Lunches for the Poor?
  • Our parish prepares lunches for 200 homeless people on the fourth Tuesday of every month. We prepare the lunches before the 8:30 am Mass. Cookies donations, to round out the meals, are welcome and appreciated!
What is the Parish Food Cupboard?
  • Our parishioners bring food and other non-perishable items for the food cupboard to the vestibule. We also need plastic and brown bags.
What is Christmas in Vinton County?
  • Every year our parishioners donate Christmas gifts and goodies, clothing, wrapping paper and ribbons to the less fortunate of Vinton County. The donations are then given out at the St. Francis Center in McArthur, Ohio. We always need help loading and driving the truck to the St. Francis Center.
